Last week, we began welding together the aluminum rods for the frame! This is a very exciting time for SunStang because we have a tangible part of our future baby right before our eyes! Check out some photos on our Flickr page! We’ve also received the carbon fibre tubes from VR3’s Cartesian Tube Profiling.

This upcoming weekend, Western University will be hosting its annual March Break Open House. This is an opportunity for prospective students to get acquainted with the University and learn more about programs and campus life. Many engineering clubs will be set up in CMLP to talk to the high school students and their families. SunStang members will be in our shop from 9am-3pm, so come by on Saturday March 8^th to talk to us, check out our shop and see what we’ve been up to!

In early February, SunStang spent a weekend at the World of Motorcycles Expo. We enjoyed talking to everyone so much that we’re going to the Speed & Custom Car Show too!

The Speed & Custom Car Show is a celebration of all cars and the automotive lifestyle. Some of the highlights of the show include a race simulator, the model car competition, Smash a Van for Charity and live music! The show runs from March 22-24 at the Western Fair District in London, Ontario. If you’re in the area, be sure to come by and have a good time with SunStang!
