Last week, the mechanical team continued to weld together the frame and have completely tacked it together. All that remains is to make complete welds so that the frame is stable and fits perfectly together. The foam from General Plastics has made it to our shop, weighing an impressive 800lbs!

The electrical team has begun soldering the turning and brake lights onto circuit boards, and the design for the battery box is coming together. The batteries from BatterySpace have also arrived, and have gotten the electrical team very excited as we test out some LEDs!

On Saturday, March 9^th, Western University held its annual March Break Open House, welcoming prospective students to campus to inform them on degrees and programs, facilities, services, and to show them what being a Western Mustang is all about. SunStang opened its shop to visitors, talking to high school students and their families about engineering, Western, and our very own solar car project.
