The lack of blog posts means SunStang is unbelievably busy! We’re preparing for the 2014 Formula Sun Grand Prix and American Solar Challenge. And time is not on our side.

There are only 118 days until the competition begins. Being students, this is actually not a lot of time because we have to juggle class and stressing about the exams that we have procrastinated studying for.  However, we have made great progress since September! Let me show you…

Pictured above is how much of the car we have assembled so far. You can see that the frame, aerobody, and front and rear suspension have been completed. We plan to set up all electrical systems and the solar array soon. Basically the skeleton of the car is done, all we need is some muscles!

If you want a closer look at the car, come out to the annual Speed & Custom Car Show! We’ll be there all weekend, March 22-23, in the Canada building at the Western Fair District. If you're in London and looking for something to do, take a look at the Car Show to see some breathtaking cars.
